Kashmir
KASHMIR IN CHICAGO'S FULTON MARKET NEIGHBORHOOD IS A TRIBUTE TO THE GOLDEN AGE OF NYC NIGHTLIFE, FEATURING A COCKTAIL BAR, LOUNGE, LIVE MUSIC, ART, THEATRICAL PERFORMANCES, AND DJS.
Kashmir is the place to meet friends for an aperitif, cavort over cocktails and pursue a little hedonism into the early hours with DJ sets, live music and theatrical performances. Kashmir melds the intimate mood of a sumptuous lounge with the energy of a nightclub to dance the night away.
From the creators of Bordel and Disco, Kashmir weaves cocktails, music and entertainment with stylish and sexy interiors. On any given night you’ll discover DJs, up-and-coming rockers, jazz bands and theatrical performances. Influenced by the subversive late night party culture of decades past, Kashmir is an homage to the over-the-top parties of New York and London clubs in the 80's, set in an intimate room filled with Italian panache and Parisian chic. Located at the end of Randolph Street in Chicago’s Fulton Market District, Kashmir is an escapist nightlife experience from international hospitality group Bonhomme.
Kashmir’s bar program, led by industry vanguard Brian Sturgulewski, embraces fun, imagination and unrestrained indulgence. Well-curated spirits and Champagne selections balance the known and highly sought-after with the authentic and hard to find. Vibrant, ingredient-driven cocktails follow the energy of the room, a collision of raucous fun and exceptional taste. Kashmir’s elevated table service is unparalleled with fresh ingredients, cold pressed juices, savory and sweet treats, and a level of service unlike any other.
Conceived and designed by Maison Bonhomme, Kashmir’s interiors celebrate the 1960s, a time when cultural and intellectual rebellion was channeled into lifestyle and the creative arts. Kashmir expresses the attitude and style of this era by enveloping guests in texture and color, plush furnishings, exquisite sound and lighting, and a private art collection by internationally renowned artist Domingo Zapata. Zapata’s Neo-Expressionist paintings address themes of sexuality, opulence and vitality. His work can be found in the hands of private collectors, galleries, museums and cultural institutions throughout the world and is currently on display inside Paris’ Musée du Louvre in their Group Exhibition Grand Palais Immersif, ‘La Joconde’.
Standout elements inside Kashmir include walls and ceilings draped in over 1000 yards of The New Ye-Yé fabric collection created by Quintana Partners & Guell Lamadrid, an imposing cocktail bar made entirely of green onyx, a collection of hand-blown Murano crystal appliques and chandeliers, a monumental Coppibartali Light by Viabizzuno and iconic Terrazza sofas.
